IMAP mail will allow you to view your mails residing in the server so that your mails can be shared amongst various devices. If all your devices use the IMAP account - they will be kept synchronised.

Select the settings icon

Scroll down and select Mail, Contacts, Calendars

Select add mail account

Enter in your details sent to you and then select next in the top right hand corner.

• Name is the name you want people to see when they receive an email from you
• Email is your email address
• Password is the password supplied to you
• Description is a name you chose to identify this new mailbox by.

Your phone will try and retrieve your details and then return the next screen.

By default IMAP is selected

Complete all the fields of the IMAP (incoming) mail server:

• Hostname is imap.fwinternet.net
• Username is your full email address
• Password would already be in and there is no need to re-enter it

Complete the fields for the SMTP (outgoing) mail server

• Host Name is smtp.fwinternet.net
• User Name is your email address
• Password is your password

Click next.

If you get the following message - select continue

It will go through a verification step and check all your settings.

Completed successfully - click save

You can now access your email through your email icon. The red alert number indicates the number of unread emails in your inbox.

If you want to configure advanced settings - from the Mail, Contacts and Calendars menu select your mail account.

Change any settings (or even delete the account if you wish).

Click the account name to reach additional settings.

Click advanced

You now have access to even more options
